COMMON REACTIONS: POST TREATMENT
Common post treatment reactions can vary. Most will subside in 24-48 hours. Reactions that last longer or start weeks after being treated are often associated with improper homecare, friction, heat exposure, or even aggitation to certain products or creams.
If you have a reaction lasting longer than expected or later in the removal process please contact your laser technician at 720-INK-LESS | (720)-594-8585

This is a thermal reaction to heat absorption & will subside in 1-2 days. *Icing & elevating area will alleviate this reaction.

A positive reaction that ignites the healing response & removal of disintegrated tattoo particles. A result of not breaking the skin!

Tattoo pigments can be mixed w/ white6 or Titanium Dioxide. When T/D is laser it has a molecular reaction turning dark, which will be lighten in your next treatments.

Commonly caused by superficial heat absorption, when treating red tattoos. Also a result of sun exposure, heat, & over bandaging. Heals in 1-2 days.

This is when the body triggers an immune response causing the area to excessively swell, bruise, and become tender.

Agitation caused by friction from clothing, jewelry, etc.

Thermal bruising, also known as erythema ab igne or toasted skin syndrome, is a skin condition caused by chronic, repeated exposure to low-grade heat. This heat isn't hot enough to cause immediate burns

When the hair follicle is dry the laser may dehydrate the outer layer. This layer will re color in a few days. This can be expedited by applying aloe or the post care ointment provided.

Depending on the PMU pigment brand/color there may be other colors mixed to provide warming or cooling tones to the brows. Since each laser wavelength is only attracted to a certain color spectrum, the laser used for black or brown will only remove these colors and may will leave other colors like red, pink, orange, or yellow behind. These can be removed during the next visit. We can avoid this stage by test spotting the brow and removing the red spectrum colors before the darker colors.
