INKLESS has built its reputation on experience, proven results, and a deep understanding of laser technology that very few clinics in the industry can match.

Laser tattoo removal has been evolving for decades. The first laser device was invented by Theodore Maiman in Malibu, California in the 1960s, and laser technology began being used on the public by the mid-1970s. Major advancements followed in the late 1990s, which is when I entered the industry in 1999. With over 25 years of hands-on experience, I’ve had the opportunity to watch tattoo removal technology evolve from early-generation systems into the highly advanced picosecond platforms we use today.

For the past 13 years, I have also owned and operated The International Laser Academy, where we train and certify a large portion of the tattoo removal and laser aesthetics industry. This experience allows us to implement protocols based on real clinical outcomes, not theory.

INKLESS was also founded with a leadership team that brings extensive operational experience. My business partner, Jeff, has over 14 years in the tattoo removal industry and previously owned, operated, and successfully sold Clean Slate Laser, which was the largest group of tattoo removal clinics on the East Coast prior to the rise of Removery.

Our advisory board includes my father, Lorenzo Kunze Sr., a pioneer in laser aesthetics with over 44 years of experience. He was one of the first educators to develop certification programs for laser hair removal, tattoo removal, and skin rejuvenation. Our family’s history in aesthetic-based hair removal goes back even further, with honorable mention to my grandmother, Helen Kunze, who founded one of the first aesthetic-based hair removal training programs more than 86 years ago, known as Rocky Mountain Electrology.

Our team is equally experienced. We are proud to say the majority of our laser technicians have over 8+ years of hands-on experience. Every technician is fully trained and certified, and our newer technicians with 1 to 7 years of experience are mentored daily by senior specialists at every location. This ensures every client receives safe, consistent, and professional care regardless of which clinic they visit.

When it comes to technology, INKLESS is also one of the only providers in the industry using multiple advanced laser systems within our protocols. Many large corporate competitors rely on only one platform, such as PicoWay. While PicoWay is an excellent laser, relying on a single system limits treatment flexibility and wavelength availability.

INKLESS uses an advanced multi-laser approach that includes the Candela PicoWay, Cutera Enlighten III Pico/Nano, Helios785 Pico/Nano, and Lutronic Spectra. This gives us access to eight different wavelengths and three treatment modalities, including fractional options designed to treat artist application scars and help expedite stubborn tattoos.

By combining these systems, we can effectively treat nearly any tattoo regardless of ink color, design, saturation level, or skin tone. This multi-laser approach allows us to create customized protocols that often reduce the total number of sessions needed, saving clients both time and money.
